Session Timing:

We offer a therapeutic hour long massage or 90 minute massage, which includes the time taken to complete our intake and prepare the room for our clients.  For this reason we recommend arriving to your appointment a few minutes early to take full advantage of your time.  The session time begins at the time your session is scheduled, even if you are late, or do not finish the intake before your session time starts, and the full amount is still owed for the session.  If you will not make your appointment on time please let us know in advance, or consider rescheduling if you will be very late (see our rescheduling policy below).

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:

All massages must be rescheduled or cancelled 24 hours in advance, either by phone or e-mail.  In the event that an appointment is made and the client is not present, or an appointment is made and modified without sufficient notice the client will be charged a fee up to the cost of the scheduled massage, to be payed at their next appointment or within 30 days (whichever comes first) or billed the same amount.  If the client is paying with a voucher that voucher may be forfeit to cover these fees.

Client Behavior:

Inappropriate behavior during, or leading up to a massage will not be tolerated.  If any sort of inappropriate behavior persists after the client has been warned then the session will end immediately and full payment will still be owed.  The client may not be allowed to rebook if such issues arise.

Winter weather and natural disasters:

In the event that hazardous weather or any other emergency forces us to close (icy roads, unplowed roads, downed power lines etc) we will notify you that the appointment is cancelled.  If we are open but you will not be able to come to us due to any similar sort of situation we ask that you call us the morning of your appointment to notify us of the situation, as you may be held to our standard 24-hour cancellation policy above if we are not informed.

Therapist Behavior:

As profesional licensed massage therapists we have each decided to hold ourselves to a personal ethical standard.  This includes respecting client's privacy, confidentiality, and other boundaries.  To get an idea of just what you should expect from a massage therapist who values their profession's ethical principals check out the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) code of ethics.

Covid Policies:

Additional measures have been taken to disinfect equipment between every appointment. Speak to your therapist if you have any additional questions on the current protocols. As the office is treated as a healthcare environment, masks are required of both therapists and clients, INCLUDING those who are vaccinated. If you are not feeling well, have been in recent contact with someone infected, or are having symptoms of covid PLEASE inform us immediately so that we may continue the safe operation of our Massage practice.
